Heidelberg is located approximately 80 km to the south of Frankfurt and is

the longest and one of the most attractive pedestrian zones in Europe.

Goethe, Heidelberg became a magnet for the 19th century German Romantics. They
created the myth that is Heidelberg, immortalizing the city in poetry, music and
painting, and turning it into the most celebrated of European cities.

2nd day / Heidelberg
Breakfast.
In the morning: a city tour with an English speaking guide in Heidelberg. You will
see Walk through the Old Town via the "Philosophenweg" up to the castle. Start a
guided tour through the castle.

3rd day / Rothenburg
Breakfast and check out.
Transfer to Rothenburg to your hotel and check-in.

Rothenburg is a fantastic old town - with a lot of sightseeing, nice restaurants
with typical German traditional meals, coffee houses….
Start a short walking tour of Rothenburg with a local licensed English speaking
guide. You will see the imposing town hall, the narrow lanes and the Protestant
Church St. Jacob" with its world - famous altar by Tilman Riemenschneider.

4th day / Rothenburg-Munich

Augsburg has stood at the Intersection of some of the most important trade and
travel routes on the Continent. Augsburg is the third largest city in Bavaria, a
university city, the seat of the Swabian government and an important economic
center where internationally renowned companies offer state-of-the-art computer and
electronic technology.

Sights worth seeing from Augsburg's history: Rathaus (city hall), Goldener Saal

Munich - the capital of the German Federal State of Bavaria - is Germany's third
largest city and one of Europe's most prosperous and expensive. The city is located
on the River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps.
Enjoy a Bavarian evening dinner with music and dance at the famous
Hofbräuhaus.
In the historic banquet hall of "the most famous pub in the world" you can enjoy a
Bavarian Evening filled with entertainment, lots of fun and dancing.
A grand time! At the Bavarian evening in Hofbräuhaus am Platzl enjoy Bavarian most
attractive customs and traditions: folkloric groups, alphorn players, a yodeller
and the forever-popular Alpine "Schuhplattler" dancers.
5th day / Munich
Breakfast.
The morning starts with a guided city tour of Munich by coach with a licensed
English speaking guide. See among others the medieval gates, the Frauenkirche
(Cathedral), the Viktualienmarkt (Fruit and Vegetable Market), the Königsplatz,
University, the English Garden and the Nymphenburg Palace.
Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon get prepared for concert.

6th day / Munich
Breakfast at your accommodation.
Enjoy an excursion to Fussen.
Drive to Castle Neuschwanstein.
Visit King Ludwig's most famous Castle Neuschwanstein, erected in the style of an
original medieval castle.
Enjoy a guided tour with an English speaking guide.
Lunch on your own.
On your way to Oberammergau visit the Wieskirche, a master piece of Bavarian
Rococo.
Continue to Oberammergau.
Welcome to Oberammergau
Oberammergau - visit the famous village full of arts and handicrafts and of course
home of the famous Passion Play. The Oberammergau Passion Play is world famous,
they play takes place since 1634 every ten years. The art of wood carving made
Oberammergau famous, the roots go back to the medieval times. Today there are about
120 wood sculptors in Oberammergau, actively carving and selling a large variety of
wooden artefacts, from figures of saints to household goods. Those who are
interested in finding out more about the formation of the artefacts should visit
the "Pilatushaus". In the afternoon one can watch the carvers at work and witness
the "birth" of a wooden figure.
The "Pilatushaus" in the center of town, is also the center of fine arts. The house
is decorated with countless "Lüftelmalereien" painted by the well known Franz
Seraph Zwink. One of the religious themes shows the judgement of Jesus by
Pilatus.
After so many impression head back to Munich.

7th day / Munich - Salzburg
Breakfast and check out.
Transfer to Prien at the lake Chiemsee. Take a boat ride from Prien to the island
Herrenchiemsee. Visit King Ludwig's Palace Herrenchiemsee, erected in the style of
Versailles, with a local English speaking guide.
This is Bavarian King Ludwig's II largest castle. The king decided to make a
replica of Versailles, but only managed to build the central portion before funds
ran out.
What exists is very impressive, with French gardens, a big hall of mirrors, and a
state room where classical concerts are held.
Lunch on your own. Continue to Salzburg.

Salzburg - is located in the Salzach River Valley. Unique during the Holy Empire,
it was called the northern Rome, due to the importance of the Prince Archbishops
and the Baroque. Salzburg's reputation is based on a living musical
tradition.
Its beauty and vibrant musical life have made Salzburg one of Europe's foremost
cultural centres.

8th day / Salzburg
Breakfast.
Start your day with a half day walking city tour with a licensed English speaking
guide.
You will see the historical town, the cathedral, the Pegasus Fountain, Mirabell
Gardens and Mozart's Birthplace. Take the funicular up to the fortress.
Lunch on your own.
Get prepared for your concert this evening.
