Arrival Munich - transfer to your hotel and check in
One of Germany's most popular travel destinations, Munich has a lot to offer
its
visitors. Whether you are interested in history, architecture or art, whether you
enjoy
strolling through parks or fancy a trip to the Bavaria film studios, you will
always find
something exciting in this multi-faceted city.
Explore Munich on your own; you may visit the Christmas Market.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Breakfast and check out. Transfer to Salzburg.

Salzburg is located in the Salzach River valley. Because of the influence of
the
Prince Archbishops and its importance during the baroque period, it came to be
called the
northern Rome. Salzburg's reputation today is based on a living musical
tradition.
Its beauty and vibrant musical life have made it one of Europe's foremost cultural
centres.
Late afternoon: visit the large Christmas Market around the Cathedral.
After the concert:
Enjoy a hot punch and a Salzburg sausage on the Christmas Market. You may take your
punch-mug home as a souvenir.
Breakfast
Enjoy a half day city tour with English speaking guide in Salzburg. You will see the Cathedral, St. Peter's cemetery, the Residence and the Fortress, Mozart's birthplace, the Mozart Festival Theatres, the oldest chemist shop and the oldest coffeehouse etc…
Afternoon: Excursion to Hellbrunn - visit the Christmas Market around Hellbrunn Palace (one of the Baroque Palaces of Archbishop Marcus Sitticus, erected by the architect of the Salzburg Cathedral, Antonio Solari).
Return to Salzburg and get prepared for a wonderful Christmas evening.
Farewell Evening: Advent in the Alps -"Alpenländischer Advent" presenting traditional Austrian music with local musicians.
Dinner with "Salzburg traditional advent music" and regional specialities.
Breakfast, check out and transfer to Vienna.
Vienna is now included in the UNESCO World Heritage list because of the
urban and architcetural qualities of the Historic Centre. This historic centre
of Vienna is rich in architectural Heritage, including Baroque castles and gardens,
as well as the late 19th century Ringstraße
lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. Vienna developed from early
Celtic and Roman settlements into a Medieval and Baroque city, the capital of
the
Austro-Hungarian Empire. Since the 16th century, Vienna has been universally
acknowledged to be the musical capital of Europe.
Enjoy the day and explore Vienna on your own. You may get to your first impressions of Vienna from a romantic horse drawn carriage which will take you through the old city centre and see beautiful sights and squares?

Visit Schönbrunn Palace - this is one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria. Soon after the end of the monarchy the population of Vienna discovered the park as an attractive recreational area. 6.7 million Guests from all over world visit the imposing palace complex each year. At the 20th session of the World Heritage Committee held in December1996 Schönbrunn Palace was put on the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites, an institution founded in 1972. Inclusion in this list confirms the importance of the palace and its gardens as a Baroque work of art.
